Resolving Payment Posting Issues

Problem: Payments do not post or show incorrect amounts in the system.
Steps:

Double-check payment details:
- Open the Guest Folio and ensure the amount, payment type, and card details (if applicable) are entered correctly.

Verify the payment gateway:
- Ensure the payment terminal or gateway is online by checking the device or network status.

Retry posting the payment:
- If the payment failed, delete the previous entry, then re-enter it manually in the Payments Screen.

Batch settlements:
- Go to End-of-Day Processing and ensure all pending payments have been batched and settled successfully.

Contact IT or Opera support:
- If the issue persists, provide specific error messages or codes when reporting the problem for faster resolution.
