Steps:

Problem: Saflok door locks are unresponsive or show low power warnings.

Steps:

  1. Check the lock's power source:
    • For battery-powered locks, replace the batteries with fresh ones.
    • Ensure the batteries are properly inserted with the correct polarity.
  2. Inspect wired power connections:
    • For wired locks, confirm the power cable is securely connected and receiving power.
  3. Test the lock:
    • Use a backup master key or a new guest key to test if the lock responds.
  4. Reset the lock:
    • Perform a lock reset to clear any temporary malfunctions.
  5. Report hardware issues:
    • If the lock remains unresponsive, document the issue and escalate it to Saflok hardware support.
